The Ranjith Sajeev-starrer United Kingdom of Kerala, written and directed by Upacharapoorvan Gunda Jayan (2022) filmmaker Arun Vaiga, is set to release on April 17. Alongside the release date announcement, the makers have unveiled the film’s first-look poster, featuring the lead actor and Johny Antony in a jovial moment, presumably as son and father. It is produced by Anne, Sajeev, and Alex under the banners of Fragrant Nature Film Creations and Pooyappally Films.
United Kingdom of Kerala also stars Indrans, Manoj K Jayan, Sangeetha, Manju Pillai, Sarangi Shyam, and Premam director Alphonse Puthren in prominent roles. The cinematography is handled by Sinoj P Ayyappan, while the music is composed by Premam-fame Rajesh Murugesan. Details regarding the film’s plot and genre remain undisclosed.
Ranjith made his acting debut in the Anaswara Rajan-starrer Mike (2022). He was last seen in Golam (2024), a mystery thriller directed by debutant Samjad, where the actor portrayed a police officer investigating a murder.
