The makers of the Dileep-starrer Bha Bha Ba have announced the completion of the film’s second schedule through social media. Touted as a mass entertainer, the upcoming film is directed by debutant Dhananjay Shankar. It also features Vineeth Sreenivasan and Dhyan Sreenivasan in key roles. In a recent media interaction, Dileep confirmed that veteran actor Mohanlal is also part of the film’s cast, bringing the two actors together on screen for the first time since China Town (2011).
Bha Bha Ba's cast also includes Balu Varghese, Saranya Ponvannan, Sidharth Bharathan, Baiju Santhosh, Ashokan, Maniyanpilla Raju and Jibin Gopinath. Additionally, Tamil actors Redin Kingsley and Sandy will make their Malayalam film debuts with this project. The film's script is jointly written by actors Fahim Safar and Noorin Shereef, with Noorin making her debut as a writer. Fahim previously co-wrote the screenplay for the Joju George-starrer Madhuram (2021). Bha Bha Ba’s technical crew includes cinematographer Armo, editor Ranjan Abraham and composer Shaan Rahman. Bha Bha Ba is produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies.
Dileep will be seen next in his 150th film, Prince and Family, directed by debutant Binto Stephen and produced by Listin Stephen under the banner of Magic Frames. It is slated to hit theatres in April.
