In a recent media interaction, Antony Varghese confirmed that he has signed a new film produced by Shareef Muhammed under the Cubes Entertainments banner, which backed last year’s blockbuster Marco. The RDX actor further added that one of his friends would be directing the upcoming film but did not disclose their name or any further details.
Last seen in Kondal (2024), Antony is currently gearing up for the release of Daveed, a boxing-based action film set to hit cinemas on February 14. Directed by debutant Vishnu Govind, the film will feature him as a boxer named Ashiq Abu. The actor is also set to reunite with RDX director Nahas Hidhayath for a project headlined by Dulquer Salmaan. Additionally, a sequel to Antony’s hit film Ajagajantharam is in development.
Meanwhile, following its blockbuster run and reportedly surpassing Rs 100 crore at the box office, Unni Mukundan’s ultra-violent action thriller Marco is set to stream on SonyLIV from February 14.
