Veteran Malayalam actor Vijayaraghavan has joined the cast of the upcoming Tamil-Malayalam bilingual film, headlined by Tamil actor Arya and scripted by Empuraan writer Murali Gopy. The Kishkindha Kaandam actor announced his involvement through his Instagram handle, sharing photos alongside Arya and Telugu actor Sunil, who also appears to be part of the project. It is helmed by Jiyen Krishnakumar, who previously collaborated with Murali Gopy on Tiyaan (2017), starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Indrajith Sukumaran.

The yet-to-be-titled film's ensemble cast also includes Santhy Balachandran, Nikhila Vimal, Saritha Kukku, Indrans, Siddique, Renji Panicker, Appani Sarath, and Sabumon Abdusamad, among others from the Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu industries. It is bankrolled by S Vinod Kumar under the banner of Mini Studio, known for producing the Vishal-SJ Suryah starrer Mark Antony (2023). Further details regarding the plot and technical crew are awaited.

Arya, last seen in a cameo role in Madha Gaja Raja, is awaiting the release of Mr X, directed by Manu Anand, an action drama featuring Manju Warrier and Gautham Karthik. Additionally, he is producing DD Next Level, the fourth instalment of the Dhilluku Dhuddu franchise starring Santhanam, which recently wrapped filming.

Last seen in Paranu Paranu Paranu Chellan, Vijayaraghavan's upcoming slate also includes the Antony Varghese-starrer Daveed, slated for February 14, and Ouseppinte Osyath.
