Actors Antony Varghese and Neeraj Madhav danced to many popular Malayalam tracks at the back of a vehicle and on the roads of Kochi as they celebrated Christmas this year. In a video now trending on the internet, the two actors can be seen in celebratory mood, as they dance to songs such as 'Velmuruga Haro Hara' from Mohanlal's Naran, 'Scene Mone' from their film RDX, 'Aaluma Doluma' from Ajith Kumar's Vedalam, and 'Thana Dhina' from Antony's own Angamaly Diaries. Neeraj shared the video on Instagram and captioned it, "Angamaly X-mas poli" (which roughly means Christmas in Angamaly is amazing). In the comments section, actor-television presenter Pearle Maaney asked, "What universe is this?" to which Neeraj replied, saying, "A small crossover," and Antony responded, writing, "Angamaly universe". Pearle Maaney continued the banter by saying that she has not watched something like this previously.
Neeraj also shared his dance video on his Instagram Stories and wrote, "Xmas Blast with my bro, Antony Varghese Pepe." For the uninitiated, Antony was born in Angamaly and made his debut with Angamaly Diaries, directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery.
Antony and Neeraj starred together in 2023's RDX: Robert Dony Xavier, an action-packed adventure, directed by Nahas Hidhayath. They are yet to work together on another film, but the latest video seems to suggest that the two have a strong bond that goes beyond mere cinematic collaborations.
On the work front, Antony Varghese was most recently seen in the boxing drama Daveed, and he has Kattalan with debutant filmmaker Paul George and Thottam and writer-director Rishi Sivakumar up next. While Thottam stars Antony opposite Keerthy Suresh, Kattalan marks Dushara Vijayan's Malayalam debut. On the other hand, Neeraj's most recent work in Malayalam is the series Love Under Construction, co-starring Gouri Kishan.
