The Malayalam film industry is gearing up for a busy Christmas season as multiple film are getting ready for release. Nivin's Pauly's Sarvam Maya, Shane Nigam's Haal and Biju Menon-Joju George's Valathu Vashathe Kallan are some of them. Joining the race is Aghosham, headlined by Narain. Though the makers have confirmed it as a Christmas release with a new poster, they are yet to finalise a date.
Aghosham is directed by Amal K Joby, who earlier made the thriller film Gumasthan, headlined by Jaise Jose and Bibin George. Amal is also one of the writers of K Madhu's 2012-released murder mystery Banking Hours 10 to 4.
He has scripted Aghosham based on a story by Dr Lizy K Fernandez, who also serves as the film's co-director and co-producer. It is also backed by Dr Prince Prosi Austria and team.
Aghosham also stars Dhyan Sreenivasan, Aju Varghese, Pani-fame Bobby Kurian, Vijayaraghavan, Jaise Jose, Shaju Sreedhar, Johny Antony, Renji Panicker, Maqbool Salman, Kaillash, Kottayam Ramesh, and Rosmin. It has Rojo Thomas as the cinematographer, Don Max as the editor, and Stephen Devassy composing the songs. 4 Musics handles the background score, with additional music by Goutham Vincent.
