Earlier today, we reported about Dileep getting acquitted in the actor abduction and assault case. Following his acquittal, the actor claimed that a senior cop and her subordinates, as well as a part of the media, ran a narrative against him to frame him in the case. Dileep made an angry outburst at the reporters, who were at the sessions court earlier today to get his first reaction following the verdict. Subsequently, the actor's fans heckled a journalist, R Roshipal, who works for Reporter TV, for the latter's coverage of the case.
The journalist, who reported on the actor abduction and assault case from its early stages, interviewed the late director Balachandra Kumar, an important witness in the case who made a strong claim against Dileep. For the uninitiated, Balachandra Kumar said that Dileep invited the filmmaker to his house so that they could watch the alleged footage of the incident.
The actor's fans questioned the journalist's coverage of the case, asking him for the source of his reports and even hurling abusive words at the journalist. The fans then exhibited a form of mob mentality, booing and raising slogans against the reporter. Meanwhile, the journalist said that he would keep standing with justice and with the survivor in the case.
