The latest Malayalam fantasy actioner Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra is the current talk of the town, as is evident from the glowing response on social media. It is also reflecting as bookings on ticketing platforms, with weekend shows across Kerala and beyond filling fast. Directed by Dominic Arun, the film, which is the first chapter of an enticing fantasy franchise, stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, Naslen, and a host of other stars in cameo roles.

Dulquer Salmaan, who produced the film under his banner Wayfarer Films, is garnering appreciation from all corners for backing such an ambitious project. Netizens and industry insiders heap praise on the actor for trusting Arun Dominic's vision, despite the director being just one film old, and mounting it on a scale it deserves. Many also point out how Dulquer's involvement helped the film get distributed by top players, particularly in the South.

Meanwhile, Dulquer, who largely stayed away from the film's promotions, attended a screening in Abu Dhabi on Friday along with the other team members. Tovino Thomas, who plays a cameo role, was also present. While speaking after the show, Dulquer credited the team for the film's success and called himself "just a lucky producer". "I'm extremely happy... never thought you all would love the film so much. We started off with a small dream. Entire credit goes to the team, I'm just a lucky producer," he said.
