Hakim Shahjahan, who plays one of the key roles in the latest Mammootty-starrer Bazooka, has shared photos from a major accident he had on sets. The accident occurred while Hakim was filming a bike chase. The actor lost control and had a bad fall, suffering a concussion. In his note, he said that despite the accident he pushed his limits. "Pain, persistence and pure passion drove us forward," he adds.
Bazooka, which hit screens on Thursday, has taken a good opening at the box office, despite stiff competition from the other big release this week--Alappuzha Gymkhana. Bazooka is a thriller centered on the cat-and-mouse game between the cops and a gaming-obsessed gang, who are into robbery. Despite its unique concept, the execution is not entirely convincing leading to mixed reviews. Mammootty's performance towards the film's final act has also managed to raise curiosity among the viewers. Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sidharth Bharathan, Iswarya Menon and Sumit Naval play other key roles in it.
Meanwhile, Hakim has started work on his new film Nobody, headlined by Parvathy Thiruvothu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film marks the reunion of the Rorschach combo of director Nisam Basheer and writer Sameer Abdul.
