Vineeth Sreenivasan praises Varshangalkku Shesham's composer, Amrit Ramnath

Vineeth Sreenivasan's last outing, Hridayam, had a soundtrack that reigned the musical charts. Hesham Abdul Wahab, the composer of the film, became famous due to the film's success. As a result, the musical expectations for Vineeth's upcoming film, Varshangalkku Shesham, have also been heightened. On Friday, taking to his social media handles, Vineeth penned a note on the music of Varshangalkku Shesham, composed by Amrit Ramnath, the son of renowned musician Bombay Jayashri. 

Vineeth wrote on his Instagram, " Two and a half years later, I had a listening session once again with ThinkMusic. Switched off all the lights like last time and played all the tracks from Varshangalkku Shesham. Once it was done and the lights were on, Santhosh & Mahesh from ThinkMusic had such wide smiles on their faces. They hugged Amrit and said, "Welcome to the family".

He continued, "I have seen the struggle that Amrit went through in the last several months. The first three tracks that he composed came from the hospital room where he was sitting beside his mother, our dearest Jayashri ma'am, taking care of her while she was in a very critical condition. He installed a mini studio set up in the hospital room and would sing to her every melody he composed and then he would send it to me. The second track that he sent had my eyes welled up. I felt a strong intuition that it would be great if Jayashri ma'am wrote the lyrics for this song. Over the phone, I told Amrit about this. We discussed the idea and found a word to begin with. Next day, Amrit called me and gave the first four lines of the song.. I had goosebumps! I was getting a glimpse of the legend that Bombay Jayashri ma'am is!! Several times I would have asked Amrit if he wants to push the work a bit, until things become a bit easy for him. But his reply was always the same. "Vineeth, composing for your film is the way I am healing myself".

Vineeth concluded, " I can't wait for the world to listen to what this 25-year-old boy has done for Varshangalkku Shesham!!

Varshangalkku Shesham features an ensemble cast comprising Pranav Mohanlal, Nivin Pauly, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Neeta Pillai, Aju Varghese, Basil Joseph, Neeraj Madhav, Nikhil Nair, Arjun Lal and Shaan Rahman. It is to be noted that apart from directing, Vineeth also stars in the film

Visakh Subramaniam, who previously produced Vineeth's Hridayam, is backing Varshangalkku Shesham. The film is eyeing a release in April 2024. 

The film's technical crew comprises cinematographer Viswajith and editor Ranjan Abraham.
