The Tovino Thomas-starrer Ajayante Randaam Moshanam (ARM) has crossed the Rs-50-crore mark at the global box office. On Tuesday, the makers took to social media to announce the same and captioned the post, "Celebrating a fiery success! ARM 3D has crossed a monumental ₹50 crore mark in just 5 days! A huge thank you to our genuine audience who experienced the film as intended by the creators in theaters. As long as you continue to support cinema, entities with malicious intentions against it will not win. This is the testament for it. Thank You."
ARM, released on September 12 for Onam, opened to generally positive reviews from both critics and common audiences. Directed by debutant Jithin Laal, the film is a 3D action-adventure spanning multiple timelines. The film's script is penned by Sujith Nambiar, with additional screenplay from Deepu Pradeep. Telugu actor Krithi Shetty made her Malayalam debut in the film, which also features Aishwarya Rajesh, Surabhi Lakshmi, Rohini, Basil Joseph, Jagadish, and Harish Uthaman in prominent roles.
An excerpt from the CE review of the film reads, "If a film manages to transport us to a new world, even if it's for two hours, isn't that a success? It is precisely why ARM is that much-needed breath of fresh air from Malayalam's overpopulated realistic dramas and generic thrillers." Backed by UGM Productions in association with Magic Frames, it was released simultaneously in 3D and 2D formats, across Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages.
