Ahead of its release on September 20, the makers of Biju Menon's upcoming film Kadha Innuvare dropped the film's trailer on Tuesday. It is written and directed by Vishnu Mohan, who won the National Award for Best Debut Film of a Director for Meppadiyan (2022).
The trailer for Kadha Innuvare opens with a voiceover by Renji Panicker, who warns someone about the pitfalls of a love marriage. This segues into Nikhila Vimal's character declaring her love for Joseph (played by Anu Mohan). With the classic Ilaiyaraaja song 'En Iniya Pon Nilave' from Moodu Pani (1980) playing in the background, the trailer introduces characters portrayed by Biju, Methil Devika, Anusree, and Hakkim Shajahan, promising a feel-good romantic entertainer.
In an earlier conversation with us, Vishnu mentioned that Kadha Innuvare would be "relatable to everyone who has ever had a love story." The film also stars Siddique, Kottayam Ramesh, Krishna Prasad, Appunni Sasi, Kishore Satya, and Jordi Poonjar in prominent roles.
Kadha Innuvare has its cinematographer Jomon T John and editor Shameer Muhammed also involved in the film's production. Vishnu Mohan and Krishnamoorthy serve as the other producers, with Harris Desom and P B Anish credited as co-producers. The film's soundtrack is composed by Ashwin Aryan.
