The makers of Ullozhukku, headlined by Parvathy Thiruvothu and Urvashi, announced via a social media post on Wednesday that the film's screenplay has been added to the Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The Library houses a vast collection of film scripts, spanning from the 1910s to the present. Other recent Indian film scripts added to the Library include those of the Tamil films Raayan and Parking.
Ullozhukku, written and directed by Christo Tomy, also features Arjun Radhakrishnan, Prashant Madhav, Alencier Ley Lopez, and Veenah Nair in prominent roles. The film was released theatrically on June 21 and received rave reviews from both critics and audiences. It has cinematography by Shehnad Jalal, editing by Kiran Das and background score by Sushin Shyam.
Ullozhukku is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Honey Trehan, and Abhishek Chaubey under the banners of RSVP and MacGuffin Pictures.
