The makers of Pravin Koodu Shappu have released the first look posters of lead actors Basil Joseph and Soubin Shahir. While it looks like Basil plays a cop, Soubin grabs attention with his salt-and-pepper bald look. The film is directed by debutant Sreeraj Sreenivasan and produced by Anwar Rasheed.
Pravin Koodu Shappu, billed as a dark comedy, also stars Chemban Vinod Jose, Chandini Sreedharan, Sivajith Padmanabhan, Shabareesh Varma, Niyas Backer, Revathi, Vijo Amaravathi, Ramkumar, Sandeep, and Prathapan KS.
The film has Shaiju Khalid as the cinematographer, Vishnu Vijay as the composer and Shafeeq Mohammed Ali as the editor. Along with the first look, the makers have also informed that the film will hit screens for Christmas.
Soubin, who is celebrating his birthday today, is also making his Tamil debut with the Rajinikanth-Lokesh Kanagaraj film Coolie. In Malayalam, he has Machante Malakha awaiting release.
Basil, last seen in Cup, also has Jothish Shankar's Ponman, Sivaprasad's Marana Mass, and MC Jithin's Sookshmadarshini lined up.
