
The makers of the upcoming Disney+ Hotstar series 1000 Babies have announced that it will premiere on October 18, accompanied by a trailer. The show is directed by Najeem Koya, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Arouz Irfan.
The trailer, with an English song in the backgroup, opens in what appears to be a chemistry lab. It then follows the characters of Neena Gupta, portraying an enigmatic old woman, and Rahman, who plays a high-ranking police officer embroiled in an investigation involving individuals named Bibin and Merlin. The trailer promises the series will be an intriguing mystery thriller filled with twists and turns.
1000 Babies also stars Sanju Sivaram, Ashwin Kumar, Adil Ibrahim, Shaju Sreedhar, Irshad Ali, Joy Mathew, VKP, Manu M Lal, Shalu Rahim, Sirajudheen Nazar, Dain Davis, Radhika Radhakrishnan, Vivia Shanth, Nazlin, Dileep Menon, Dhanesh Anand, Srikant Murali, Sreekanth Balachandran, and Radha Gomaty. The show's technical crew includes cinematographer Faiz Siddik, music director Sankar Sharma, and editor Johnkutty. It is produced by Shaji Nadesan and Tamil actor Arya under the banner of August Cinema.
In addition to Malayalam, 1000 Babies will be streamed in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi.
