The makers of Sookshmadarshini, starring Basil Joseph and Nazriya Nazim, have released a promotional music video titled 'Dhurooha Manthahasame'. The track, composed by Christo Xavier and penned by Mu Ri, is sung by Ahi Ajayan. The film, scheduled to hit theatres on November 22, is helmed by MC, who previously made his directorial debut with the 2018 film Nonsense.
Scripted jointly by Libin TB and Athul Ramachandran, Sookshmadarshini also features Deepak Parambol, Sidharth Bharathan, Kottayam Ramesh, Manohari Joy, Premalu-fame Akhila Bhargavan, Aavesham actor Pooja Mohanraj, Merin Philip, Hezzah Mehak, Gopan Mangat, Jaya Kurup, Rini Udayakumar, James, Noushad Ali, Aparna Ram, Saraswathi Menon, AV Anoop, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Aathira Rajeev, Sajeevan, Sajeed, Binny Rinki and Nandan Unni. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Sharan Velayudhan and editor Chaman Chakko. It is produced by Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid and AV Anoop under the banners of Happy Hours Entertainments and AVA Productions.
Basil also has Sreeraj Sreenivasan's Pravin Koodu Shappu, Jothish Shankar's Ponman and Sivaprasad's Marana Mass in the pipeline.
Nazriya was last seen in the Telugu film Ante Sundaraniki (2022), opposite Nani. In Malayalam, her previous appearance was in the Fahadh Faasil-starrer Trance (2020). Up next, the Ohm Shanthi Oshaana actor is set to make her web series debut with Madras Mystery, directed by AL Vijay, which completed shooting earlier this year.
