In a recent public appearance, actor Fahadh Faasil revealed that he was clinically diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 41. The Aavesham actor was inaugurating Peace Valley Children's Village in Kothamangalam, a facility that caters to developmentally challenged children.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that causes attention difficulty, hyperactivity and impulsiveness. It often begins in childhood and can persist into adulthood. Speaking at the event, Fahadh said, "I was clinically diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 41."

As a part of spreading awareness on the topic, the actor also shared his discussion with one of the top executives of the facility. "I asked him whether ADHD can be treated easily and he replied, it can be treated more effectively if diagnosed during childhood itself." Addressing the crowd, particularly referring to the children gathered, Fahadh offered all his support for the facility and added, "If you can smile when you see me, that's the greatest thing I can do for you."

Fahadh will be next seen in the Telugu film Pushpa 2: The Rule, the much-awaited sequel to Pushpa: The Rise (2021), opposite Allu Arjun. His upcoming lineup in Malayalam includes Althaf Salim's Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira, debutant Roy's Karate Chandran and a Jeethu Joseph directorial. In Tamil, the actor has Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan and Mareesan with Vadivelu, while his Telugu slate includes Oxygen and Don’t Trouble The Trouble.
