Samadhana Pusthakam trailer: High schoolers in pursuit of adult content during pre-digital era

The trailer of Samadhana Pusthakam was released on Monday. It is helmed by Raveesh Nath, making his directorial debut. Set in 2001, the trailer begins with two high schoolers discussing an erotic book they just came across. It promises to be a comedy entertainer, showcasing the pre-digital era people who had no internet in getting access to adult content, against the backdrop of a high school and its students in Kerala. The film is scheduled to release on July 19.

Samadhana Pusthakam is jointly scripted by the director, Arun D Jose and Sivan C P. The film features Siju Wilson, Mathew Thomas, Leona Lishoy, Veena Nair, James Elia, Meghanadhan, Kalabhavan Haneef, Pramod Veliyanadu, Rajesh Paravoor, Shylaja Ambu, Yohan, Dhanus, Irfan, Balu, Abhinand, Amal Dev, Nebish Benson, Sreelakshmi, Trinity and Mahima Gigi in prominent roles. In the technical department, it has cinematography by Satheesh Kurup, editing by Chaman Chakko, music by 4 Musics and audiography by Tapas Nayak. 

Samadhana Pusthakam is backed by Nissar Mangalasseri under the banner of Sigma Stories.

Raveesh and Arun have previously co-wrote Jo and Jo (2022) and Journey of Love 18+ (2023), both films helmed by the latter. The writer-director is reuniting for the upcoming film Bromance, starring Arjun Ashokan, Mathew Thomas and Mahima Nambiar in the lead roles.
