Impressed by the Asif Ali-Jis Joy film Thalavan, actor Kamal Haasan recently met and appreciated the makers. Director Jis Joy, Asif, producer Arun Narayan, and a couple of other core team members met Kamal at his office in Chennai. Although Biju Menon couldn't join the team due to prior commitments, Kamal requested the team to convey his best wishes to him.

Asif Ali took to social media to share a brief note expressing his gratitude to the veteran. He thanked Kamal for taking the time to watch the film and sharing thoughtful insights about it. "It's been a privilege to receive your feedback, and we're grateful for your support and recognition of our work," added Asif.

The film also stars Anusree, Miya George, Dileesh Pothan, Ranjith, Kottayam Nazeer, and Jaffer Idukki in important roles.
