As Shane Nigam's Little Hearts gears up for release tomorrow, a major jolt has come in the form of a ban in GCC countries. Producer Sandra Thomas released a statement on social media informing people about the government ban on the film. Though she stated that the reason for the ban cannot be divulged now, she expressed regret and disappointment at not being able to release the film in GCC regions.

Little Hearts is directed by Aby Treesa Paul and Anto Jose Pereira, who both debuted in 2022 with the Arjun Ashokan-starrer Member Rameshan 9aam Ward. Rajesh Pinnadan has scripted the upcoming film as a family drama, set in the high ranges. It sees Shane Nigam and Mahima Nambiar reuniting after the success of RDX. Others in the cast include Baburaj, Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam-fame Ramya Suvi, Shine Tom Chacko, Jaffer Idukki, Renji Panicker, Maala Parvathi, Parvathy Babu, Aima Rosmy, and John Kaippallil.

Music director Kailas, cinematographer Luke Jose, and editor Noufal Abdullah form the film's core technical team.
