Nadanna Sambhavam gets an OTT release date

Nadanna Sambhavam, featuring Biju Menon and Suraj Venjaramoodu in the lead, will be streaming on manoramaMAX from August 9, announced the streamer on Monday. The film, helmed by Maradona director Vishnu Narayan, was released theatrically on June 21. It is scripted by Rajesh Gopinadhan, who had previously penned Kali and Djinn. 

Nadanna Sambhavam also stars Lijomol Jose, Shruti Ramachandran, Sudhi Koppa, Johny Antony, Lalu Alex, Noushad Ali, Athira Harikumar, Anagha Ashok, Sreejith Nair, Eithal Evana Sherin and Jess Sweeja, among others. Bankrolled by Anup Kannan and Renu A under the banner of Anup Kannan Stories, the film has cinematography by Manesh Madhavan, music by Ankit Menon, and editing by Saiju Sreedharan and Toby John.

An excerpt from the CE review of the film reads, "Nadanna Sambhavam uncannily reminds one of Ayalathe Adheham (1992), which also featured two diametrically different kinds of couples, with the chivalrous man among them being the source of conflict. While the latter film's writing ultimately made a strong case for questionably furthering stereotypes, Rajesh Gopinadhan's screenplay uses this plot point to explore gender dynamics and female desire in a rather welcoming manner."
