'Kalam Paattu' song from Idiyan Chandhu out

The makers of Idiyan Chandhu released the song Kalam Paattu. Kuttan and Ambili have jointly penned the lyrics and rendered the vocals for the folk fusion number composed by Aravind R Warrier. The film, featuring Vishnu Unnikrishnan in the lead, hit theatres on July 19. It is written and directed by Sreejith Vijayan, who earlier helmed Kuttanadan Marpappa (2018).

Idiyan Chandhu also stars Kichus Tellus, Lena, Lalu Alex, IM Vijayan, Jayashree Sivadha, Vidhya Vijay, Chandu Salimkumar, Fukru, Sooraj Thelakkad, Johny Antony, Ramesh Pisharody, Biju Sopanam, and Sminu Sijo in prominent roles. On the technical front, Vignesh Vasu wielded the camera and V Saajan handled the cuts for the film. Apart from Aravind, it also has music directors Deepak Dev and Minshad Zara as part of its composing team.

Idiyan Chandhu is bankrolled by Shafeek, Subair, Rayees, Vishnu, and Sreejith under the banner of Happy Productions.
