Samadhana Pusthakam Teaser: A comedy entertainer centered on a high school

Ahead of its release on July 19, the makers of Samadhana Pusthakam dropped a new teaser. The film marks the directorial debut of Raveesh Nath, who also serves as one of the co-writers. Arun D Jose and Sivan CP are also part of its writing team.  

Set in 2001, the film's teaser shows a staff member at a high school informing the headmaster about students found with an adult magazine. Promising a comedy entertainer that revolves around a group of high-school students in Kerala, the trailer highlights the pre-digital era when people had no internet to access adult content.

Samadhana Pusthakam's cast includes Siju Wilson, Mathew Thomas, Leona Lishoy, Veena Nair, James Elia, Meghanadhan, Kalabhavan Haneef, Pramod Veliyanadu, Rajesh Paravoor, Shylaja Ambu, Yohan, Dhanus, Irfan, Balu, Abhinand, Amal Dev, Nebish Benson, Sreelakshmi, Trinity and Mahima Gigi. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Satheesh Kurup, editing by Chaman Chakko and music by 4 Musics. It is produced by Nissar Mangalasseri under the banner of Sigma Stories.

Earlier, Raveesh and Arun have co-wrote Jo and Jo (2022) and Journey of Love 18+ (2023), both helmed by the latter. Up next, the writer-director combo has reunited for the upcoming film Bromance, which went on floors recently. It features Arjun Ashokan, Mathew Thomas, and Mahima Nambiar in the lead roles.
