Aadujeevitham, helmed by Blessy and headlined by Prithviraj Sukumaran, is all set to premiere on Netflix on July 19. The survival drama, released theatrically on March 28, opened to largely positive reviews and went on to gross more than Rs 150 crores globally, as claimed by the makers. Apart from the original language, Malayalam, it will be streamed with dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

Based on the eponymous novel penned by Benyamin, the film adaptation written by Blessy also features Amala Paul, Jimmy Jean-Louis, KR Gokul, and renowned Arab actors Rik Aby and Talib al Balushi. Aadujeevitham, a survival drama set mainly in the desert landscape, had Academy Award winners AR Rahman and Resul Pookutty handling its music and sound design respectively. The film also had Sunil KS wielding the camera and A Sreekar Prasad on the editing table in its technical department.

An excerpt from the CE review of the film reads, "If Benyamin's novel is monologue-heavy, giving us a peek into Najeeb's internal turmoils and dilemmas, the struggles conveyed in the film are mostly external or physical. It is made possible by a stunning Prithviraj Sukumaran, who is ready to stretch himself to any limit to ensure we feel every inch of Najeeb's pain and agony."
