Thaanara trailer promises a fun-filled entertainer led by Shine Tom Chacko and Vishnu Unnikrishnan

The trailer of Thaanara, directed by Haridas, has been released by the makers. It features Shine Tom Chacko and Vishnu Unnikrishnan in the lead roles. The trailer begins with a voiceover from Shine, as Adarsh Sreevaraham, introducing Vishnu's character, Ramamoothy, as an influential figure in Delhi politics. Through a series of fun-filled moments, it goes on to introduce the other lead actors of the film: Deepti Sati as Sradha, Aju Varghese as James Bond, Sneha Babu as Asha, and Chinnu Chandni as Anjali.

Thaanara is scripted by Raffi, best known for jointly helming many comedy entertainers such as Punjabi House (1998) and Thenkasi Pattanam (2002) with his long-time collaborator Meccartin. The upcoming film has Vishnu Narayanan wielding the camera, V Saajan on the editing table, and Gopi Sundar composing the soundtrack. It is backed by Biju V Mathai, along with co-producer Suja Mathai. KR Jayakumar and Biju MP served as its executive producers.
