Tamil actor Redin Kingsley will be making his debut in Malayalam with Dileep's Bha Bha Ba, announced the makers on Tuesday. He will be joining Balu Varghese, veteran actor Saranya Ponvannan, actor-director Sidharth Bharathan and Tamil actor-dance choreographer Sandy, along with brothers Vineeth Sreenivasan and Dhyan Sreenivasan. Billed as a mass entertainer, the upcoming film marks the directorial debut of Dhananjay Shankar.

Bha Bha Ba is jointly scripted by actors Fahim Safar and Noorin Shereef. While it marks Noorin's debut as a writer, Fahim had earlier co-written the screenplay of the Joju George-starrer Madhuram (2021). More details regarding Bha Bha Ba, produced by Gokulam Gopalan of Sree Gokulam Movies, are expected to be out in the coming days.

Redin, who made his entry with Nelson's directorial debut Kolamaavu Kokila (2018), rose to fame following his appearance in the director's sophomore outing Doctor (2021). He was also part of Nelson's following films, Beast (2022) and Jailer (2023).

Meanwhile, Dileep is shooting for his 150th film, directed by Binto Stephen, also a debutant. The family entertainer, produced by Listin Stephen under the banner of Magic Frames, is targeting an Onam release.
