Earlier, we reported that actor-politician Suresh Gopi's son Madhav Suresh is headlining Kummattikali, marking his debut as an actor. The audio of the film was released by Suresh Gopi and Super Good Films founder cum producer RB Choudary in Chennai. It is the Malayalam debut of Tamil filmmaker Vincent Selva, known for helming Vijay-starrers like Priyamudan and Youth.
Kummattikali, set against a coastal backdrop, is scripted by Vincent himself and backed by Super Good Films. The upcoming film, reportedly inspired by Mammootty's Amaram, also stars Lena, Devika Satheesh, Yami, Anuprabha, Major Ravi, Mime Gopi, Azeez Nedumangad, Sohan Seenulal, Sinoj Angamaly, Mithun Prakash, Rashik Ajmal, and Aneesh Gopal, among others. Its technical crew includes cinematographer Venkatesh, editor Don Max, and Trance music director Jackson Vijayan. Kummattikali will also mark the Malayalam debut of the Tamil composer Yuvan Shankar Raja as a signer.
Meanwhile, Madhav is also part of Suresh Gopi's upcoming film JSK - Janaki vs State of Kerala.
