A few hours before the consecration or the pran pratishtha of the Ram temple in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya, several Malayalam celebrities took to their social media handles to share images of the Preamble of the Indian Constitution.

Aashiq Abu, Jeo Baby, Kunjila Mascillamani, Kamal KM, Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Rajesh Madhavan, and musician Sooraj Santhosh are among the well-known Malayalam film stars who uploaded pictures of the Preamble of the Constitution. From the Kollywood industry, actor Lakshmipriyaa Chandramouli shared the preamble.

“We the people of India, having solemnly resolved to constitute India a into a Sovereign, Socialist,  Secular, Democratic, Republic and to secure to all its citizens: 

Justice, social, economic and political;

Liberty of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship;

Equality of status and of opportunity and to promote among them all;

Fraternity assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation;

in our Constituent Assembly, this twenty-sixth day of November, 1949 do Hereby Adopt, Enact and give to ourselves this Constitution.”

While Parvathy shared the picture with the caption, "Our India," Rima Kallingal said, "justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity."

Several people criticised Parvathy and her comments section was filled with 'Jai Shri Ram' chants.

Meanwhile, the new Ram Lalla idol was consecrated at the newly constructed temple at Ayodhya on Monday amid grand celebrations in the town, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi participating in the rituals.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol in Ayodhya was an extraordinary moment that would make everyone full of emotions. At the end of the ceremony, Modi prostrated himself before the idol that Modi took part in the pran pratishtha rituals in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

Apart from politicians, several celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi and couples Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif attended the ceremony. 

Filmmakers Rohit Shetty, Rajkumar Hirani, actors Ayushmann Khurrana, Madhuri Dixit Nene along with her husband Sriram Nene and producer Mahaveer Jain also arrived in the temple town as part of the contingent from the Indian film industry to take part in the grand event.
