Tovino Thomas's next is titled Munpe; here's the motion poster 

On Sunday, on the occasion of his 35th birthday, actor Tovino Thomas announced his new project titled Munpe. The upcoming film will be directed by Saiju Sreedharan.

Taking to his social media handles by sharing a motion poster of Munpe, Tovino wrote, "To what extent will you go to get back the one you lost? Get ready to plunge into the depths of Munpe - an intense, fantastical love story that is out of this world." 

The motion poster depicts Tovino with his arms outstretched inside a cosmic wormhole while a woman falls deep into the hole.

It's worth noting that Saiju Sreedharam, who is best known as an editor for numerous Malayalam films, such as Mayaanadhi, Kumbalangi Nights, and Anjaam Pathiraa, has made his directorial debut with the film Footage. The movie features Manju Warrior in the lead role. Currently, there's yet to be any news about when Footage will be released.

Munpe will mark Saiju's sophomore directorial venture. Apart from directing, he will also serve as the film's editor. Written by Tina Thomas, Munpe is bankrolled by Dolwin Kuriakose. With songs composed by Rex Vijayan, Sushin Shyam will be credited for the background score for the upcoming film. The film will have cinematography by Shinoz. 

Tovino Thomas has several films in the pipeline, including Anweshippin Kandethum on February 9th, Ajayante Randam Moshanam, Identity, and Nadikar Thilakam among others
