AR Rahman launches official website for Prithviraj Sukumaran's Aadujeevitham

Music composer and singer AR Rahman recently launched the official website of the much-anticipated Malayalam film Aadujeevitham. Director Blessy, writer Benyamin, and associate producer KC Eapen were also present at the event. AR Rahman expressed his joy in launching the film's website and said that he is eagerly waiting for the film's release.

Aadujeevitham (The Goat Life), which was earlier scheduled to hit theatres on April 10 has now been advanced to March 28.

After the website launch, AR Rahman said, "I'm coming back to Malayalam cinema after Yoddha. I did a small movie with Fahadh Faasil before. But this is, a musician's, a music composer's movie in a way. So much of emotions to compose. And I'm honoured to work with Blessy, Mr Benyamin, Prithviraj, and the whole team. They have all given their soul to the movie. And, looking at them, reaffirms my faith in cinema. Mr Blessy and the team have made a Malayalam 'Lawrence of Arabia'. I hope you enjoy this movie and support us."

Director Blessy said, "I think it is a rarity in Malayalam cinema that such a website has launched. Several people asked me the purpose of such a website, and the reason for it is for the world to know the efforts my cast and crew put into the completion of this film."

He further said, "Another peculiarity of the website is that the lighting of the desert and the Masara you see on the website will change according to the time you look at it. They will look different when you open the website in the morning, afternoon, evening and night. I am happy that AR Rahman sir came here to launch this website. Also, our film's music launch will happen on March 10th, I welcome you all to that function as well."

Aadujeevitham is helmed by Blessy. The film is adapted from the 2008 eponymous novel written by Benyamin. The film will revolve around the life of Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant labourer who finds himself forced into slavery on a secluded farm in the deserts of Saudi Arabia.

With Prithviraj in the lead, Aadujeevitham also stars Amala Paul, Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean-Louis, K R Gokul, and renowned Arab actors Talib al Balushi and RikAby in key roles.

Academy Award winners Resul Pookkutty and AR Rahman have handled music direction and sound design in Aadujeevitham. The film's technical crew also includes cinematographer Sunil KS and editor Sreekar Prasad.
