Indrans and Jaffer Idukki's next Kuttante Shinigami's title poster out

Earlier this Friday, actor Tovino Thomas took to social media to share the title poster of Kuttante Shinigami, starring Indrans and Jaffer Idukki in pivotal roles. Written and directed by Rasheed Parakkal, the film is said to revolve around Shinigami, a concept in Japanese folklore about a supernatural power that follows a living being. This explains why the title poster of Kuttante Shinigami features imprints of 'methiyadi', a form of wooden shoe that originates from ancient Kerala. It is presented as if the footwear is following someone or something.

Kuttante Shinigami marks the directorial debut of Rasheed Parakkal, who has written smaller films such as Sameer (2020) and Pine Marangalude Nattil (2023). It is produced by Asharaf Pilakkal, who earlier collaborated on independent films such as Moonnaam Naal (2015) and Hello Dubaikkaran (2017).
