Mohanlal's Malaikottai Vaaliban gets an OTT release date

Malaikottai Vaaliban, starring Mohanlal in the lead role, helmed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, has a streaming release date now. The film will stream on Disney+ Hotstar starting February 25. The streamer announced the same on his social media handles.

The film, which was released on January 25, met with mixed reception following its theatrical release. An excerpt from the CE review of the film read., " Malaikottai Vaaliban is a tiresome visual extravaganza with few joys. One can derive considerable joy from LJP's 'brilliant' frames, but are they enough?"

Malaikottai Vaaliban marks Mojhanlal's first collaboration with Lijo. Besides Mohanlal, Malaikottai Vaaliban also stars Sonalee Kulkarni, Hareesh Peradi, Manoj Moses, Katha Nandi, Danish Sait and Manikandan Achari. 

The film has a script penned by Lijo along with PS Rafeeque. The film's technical crew comprises cinematographer Madhu Neelakandan, editor Deepu Joseph, and music director Prashant Pillai.
