The makers of Narayaneente Moonnaanmakkal dropped the lyric video of the first single titled Nee Ariyathoru Naal. The track, composed by Rahul Raj and penned by Rafeeq Ahamed, is sung by Suchith Suresan. The film, written and directed by debutant Sharan Venugopal, is scheduled to release on January 16. It features Joju George, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Alencier Ley Lopez in the lead roles.
Billed as a family drama, Narayaneente Moonnaanmakkal also stars Thomas Mathew, Garggi Ananthan, Shelly N Kumar, Sajitha Madathil, Sarasa Balussery in prominent roles. On the technical front, the film has Appu Prabhakar as the cinematographer and Jyoti Swaroop Panda as the editor. It is produced by Joby George, whose last production, the critically acclaimed Kishkindha Kaandam, received widespread praise and box office reception.
Sharan previously won the Best Film on Family Values award at the 67th National Film Awards for his diploma film Oru Paathiraa Swapnam Pole, which starred Nadiya Moidu and Garggi Ananthan. The 37-minute film, available on YouTube, was screened at several prestigious international festivals, including International Film Festival of India (IFFI) and International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK).
