
Earlier, we reported Fahadh Faasil headlining Renji Panicker's next directorial, marking the veteran writer-filmmaker’s return to wielding the megaphone after 16 years. In a recent social media interaction, the yet-to-be-titled film's producer Joby George Thadathil of Goodwill Entertainments banner confirmed that its production will commence in March 2025. Further details regarding the cast and crew are yet to be revealed.
Fahadh, last seen in the Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa: The Rule, has a packed slate spanning multiple languages. In Malayalam, he is currently working on Althaf Salim's rom-com Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira. He also has Karate Chandran with debutant director Roy, Vipin Das' gangster comedy co-starring SJ Suryah, and a collaboration with Jeethu Joseph in his home turf. Meanwhile, he is also part of Mareesan alongside Vadivelu in Tamil, while his Telugu commitments include Oxygen and Don’t Trouble The Trouble.
Renji's last directorial was Roudram (2008), a crime thriller featuring Mammootty in the lead.
