The makers of Saiju Kurup's maiden production venture Bharathanatyam unveiled a new poster on Wednesday. The new poster features its lead actor Saiju along with Swathi Das Prabhu, Abhiram Radhakrishnan and Nandu Poduval. Slated to hit theatres on August 23, it marks the directorial debut of Krishnadas Murali, who has also penned the script.
Bharathanatyam also features veteran actor Saikumar, Divya M Nair, Kalaranjini, and Sruthy Suresh in prominent roles. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Bablu Aju, music director Samuel Aby, and editor Shadeeque VB. In an earlier conversation with CE, Krishnadas described Bharathanatyam as a light-hearted entertainer set in a rural world. The film is centred on a Nair mansion and its family, who take great pride in their heritage and are excessively conscious of it.
Meanwhile, Saiju's upcoming slate includes Porattu Naadakam, Anand Sreebala, Abhilasham, and Written and Directed by God. Additionally, the actor is making his digital debut with Sony LIV's upcoming web series Jai Mahendran.
