Manjummel Boys OTT release date out

Manjummel Boys, Malayalam cinema's highest grossing film ever, is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on May 5. Besides Malayalam, the film will also stream in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Telugu languages.

Written and directed by Chidambaram, Manjummel Boys is a survival thriller based on real incidents. It is about a bunch of youngsters from Manjummel, a suburb in Ernakulam, who visit Kodaikanal for a leisure trip. During the trip, one of the gang members get entrapped in a perilous cave triggering a gripping survival operation with the help of police, fire force officials and locals.

Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Deepak Parambol, Jean Paul Lal, Chandu Salim Kumar, Ganapathi, Khalid Rahman, Vishnu Reghu, Arun Kurian, Balu Varghese and Abhiram Radhakrishnan essay the major roles in it. The film has Shyju Khalid as the cinematographer, Sushin Shyam as the music director, Ajayan Chalissery as the production designer and Vivek Harshan as the editor.

Hitting screens on February 22, Manjummel Boys opened to overwhelming response from all corners. In Tamil Nadu, it did record business for a Malayalam in the state with a gross of over Rs 50 crore. Overall, the film grossed over Rs 200 crore from its worldwide collections. It is produced by Soubin Shahir, Shawn Antony and Babu Shahir.
