On Sunday, the makers of Aadujeevitham starring Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead, announced that the film has grossed over Rs. 150 crores globally within just 25 days after its release. It is to be noted that the Blessy directorial, which hit the theatres on March 28, had earned more than 100 crores within nine days of its theatrical release.
The makers had earlier announced Aadujeevitham as the highest-grossing Malayalam film ever in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, a feat achieved solely through its UAE box-office collection.
Aadujeevitham is a survival drama based on Benyamin's novel of the same name. Apart from Prithviraj, the film features an ensemble cast including Jimmy Jean-Louis, Amala Paul, KR Gokul, and renowned Arab actors Rik Aby and Talib al Balushi. AR Rahman composed the film's music, while Resul Pookutty helmed with its sound design. It also features cinematography by Sunil KS and editing by A Sreekar Prasad.
