The first-look motion poster of Machaante Maalakha is out. It has Soubin Shahir, Namitha Pramod and Dhyan Sreenivasan playing the lead roles. The film is directed by Boban Samuel, know for films like Janapriyan (2011), Romans (2013) and Happy Journey (2014). Actor Tovino Thomas took to his Facebook handle to release the poster.
Ajeesh P Thomas, known for Vikruthi (2019), has penned the script for the film, the story for which comes from Oru Second Class Yathra-director Jexson Antony. Billed as a family entertainer, it also stars Dileesh Pothan, Shanthi Krishna and Manoj K U in prominent roles.
Produced by Abraham Mathew under the banner of Abaam Movies, Machante Maalakha's technical team includes cinematographer Vivek Menon, editor Ratheesh Raj and composer Ouseppachan.
Meanwhile, Soubin Shahir, last seen in Manjummel Boys, has debutant Sreeraj Sreenivasan's Pravinkoodu Shappu, which also stars Basil Joseph and Chemban Vinod in the lead roles. It is produced by Anwar Rasheed Entertainment.
Dhyan will be next seen in Vineeth Sreenivasan's Varshangalkku Shesham and the Nivin Pauly-starrer Malayalee From India, directed by Dijo Jose Antony. His upcoming slate also includes SN Swami's directorial debut Secret, Jespal Shanmugham's Swargathile Katturumbu, Vinay Jose's Cop Uncle, Mahesh P Srinivasan's Kudumbasreeyum Kunjadum and Dhananjay Shankar's Ba Ba Ba.
