Kerala State Film Awards 2023: Nna Thaan Case Kodu wins big

Among the list of winners, Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval's Nna Thaan Case Kodu (NTCK) stood out by winning in seven categories, the most number won by a film

The 53rd Kerala State Film Awards have been announced.  Among the list of winners, Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval's Nna Thaan Case Kodu (NTCK) stood out by winning in seven categories, the most number won by a film.

In the main categories, aside from winning Best Film with Popular and Aesthetic Value and Best Actor (Male, Special Jury Mention) for Kunchacko Boban, NTCK fetched a Best Original Screenplay for Ratheesh, who previously won the Kerala State Award for Best Debut Director for his work in Android Kunjappan 5.25.
 
NTCK also won in other categories, such as Best Character Actor for Kunhikrishnan, Best Art Director for Jothish Sankar, Best Background Score for Dawn Vincent, and Best Sound Mixing for Vipin Nair.

In addition to Kunchacko Boban and Kunhikrishnan, the cast of NTCK comprises Gayathrie Shankar, Rajesh Madhavan, AV Balakrishnan, Adv. Shukkuar, Sudheer CK, Basil Joseph, Mridul Nair, Sibi Thomas, Gangadharan Kuttamath, and Unnimaya Prasad, among others.
