After the blockbuster success of RDX, Antony Varghese is reuniting with Weekend Blockbusters for an action-packed revenge drama. Debutant Ajit Mampally is directing the film, which got launched on Saturday with a formal pooja ceremony.
Scripted by director Ajit, Roylin Robert and Satheesh Thonakkal, the film has Antony playing a character named Manuel. As the narrative is set against the backdrop of the sea, the makers are planning to shoot it in coastal areas like Rameshwaram, Kollam, Varkala and Anchuthengu.
Sam CS, who won praise for his work in RDX, has been retained as the composer. Cinematographer Jithin Stanislaus, editor Sreejith Sarang and art director Manu Jagadh are also part of the technical team. The film's shoot is scheduled to begin by mid-October.
Meanwhile, Antony next has Chaaver gearing up for release. The Tinu Pappachan directorial also stars Kunchacko Boban and Arjun Ashokan as the leads. Scripted by Joy Mathew, the film is a political drama set in Kannur.
