As reported earlier, Suresh Gopi and Biju Menon are headlining debutant director Arun Varma's Garudan. On Saturday, marking the occasion of Biju Menon's birthday, the team released a special poster featuring him. He plays a college professor named Nishanth in the film.
Garudan is a legal thriller centered around his character and Suresh Gopi's Hareesh Madhavan, an armed police commandant. The two, who have earlier worked together in films like FIR, Pathram, Randaam Bhavam, and Christian Brothers, are reuniting after a long gap.
Garudan, scripted by Midhun Manuel Thomas, also stars Abhirami, Thalaivasal Vijay, Jagadish, Dileesh Pothan, Major Ravi, Nishant Sagar, Ranjini, and Malavika. It has Ajay David Kachappilly as the cinematographer and Jakes Bejoy handling the music.
Listin Stephen's Magic Frames is producing the film.
Biju Menon is also starring in the sophomore directorial of Vishnu Mohan, who recently won the National award for Meppadiyan. The actor is also playing one of the leads alongside Asif Ali in Jis Joy's upcoming film. Nadanna Sambavam, directed by Maradona-fame Vishnu Narayan will be his next release.
