Vineeth Sreenivasan's new directorial Varshangalkku Shesham has gone on floors. The film, which sees him reuniting with his Hridayam producer Visakh Subramaniam, has a stellar star cast. It includes Pranav Mohanlal, Nivin Pauly, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Neeta Pillai, Aju Varghese, Basil Joseph, Neeraj Madhav, Nikhil Nair, Arjun Lal and Shaan Rahman. Besides scripting and directing, Vineeth is also acting in the film.
Earlier it was speculated that Varshangalkku Shesham is based on the real story of actors Mohanlal, Sreenivasan and Mammootty, and their early days in cinema. However, Vineeth recently dismissed them as mere rumours and clarified that it's a story of a bunch of friends. The director though didn't reveal any further details about the film.
Like all his other films, Varshangalkku Shesham will also have a lot of scope for music, and Amrit Ramnath has been roped in as the composer. It marks the feature film debut of Amrit, who is the son of legendary playback singer Bombay Jayashri.
