Dileep's new film Bandra is eyeing to hit screens on November 10. Its director Arun Gopy, who earlier made Ramaleela with Dileep, hinted the release date with a cryptic post in social media. An official announcement is expected only after the film's censoring is completed.
Bandra is an action film scripted by Udhaykrishna. Arun Gopy had earlier revealed that "it's a fictional story inspired from a true incident". Tamannaah Bhatia is making her Malayalam debut with this film, which also includes several other non-Malayali actors like Sarath Kumar, Dino Morea, Rajveer Ankur Singh, Amit Tiwari, Easwari Rao, and VTV Ganesh.
Dileep also has Thankamani gearing up for release. Directed by Udal-fame Ratheesh Reghunandan, it is a period film based on some real-life incidents that occurred in 1986. The actor's upcoming slate includes films with actor-turned-director and Rorschach-fame Nisam Basheer.
