Director Krishand, who made critically acclaimed films like Aavasavyuham and Purusha Pretham, will next helm a web series. The show, tentatively titled Gangs of Trivandrum, will stream on Sony LIV.
This is the director's third web series after Utsaha Ithihasam and Kraya Vikraya Prakriya.
Krishand and his team is currently working on the new show's pre-production. They recently released a casting call looking for actors above the age of 35, who can speak the Trivandrum accent fluently. More details regarding the project are expected to be out soon.
Besides this, a few other shows are also in the development in Sony LIV. One of them is Jai Mahendran, a political drama starring Saiju Kurup in the lead. Srikanth Mohan is directing the series with Rahul Riji Nair attached to it as the writer, producer, and showrunner.
