'Omana and Matthew will forever live in the core of my heart', says Jyotika on Kaathal 

The Malayalam film Kaathal- The Core, featuring Mammootty and Jyotika in the lead roles, hit the theatres on Thursday. The film that marks Jyotika's return to Malayalam films since Seetha Kalyanam in 2009 has received positive responses from the audiences. Following the first day of the theatrical release, Jyotika penned a gratitude note on her social media handles.

Taking to her Instagram account, Jyotika wrote, " Some movies are made for the right reasons, with pure intentions and only for the love of cinema. Kaathal - the Core is one such film that was earnestly made from the core of the entire team. Thank you to the most wonderful audience for recognising and respecting this emotion. Your love for a good film will only make the cinema a better place."

The actor continued her not expressing gratitude and love to his fellow actor Mammootty and the film's crew, " All my love and respect and a big salute to the real-life hero Mammootty sir. To the daring and supremely talented Jeo Baby. To the revolutionary writers Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria and the whole team for making me part of this Gem. Omana and Matthew will forever live in the core of my heart." 

Directed by Jeo Baby, the film is backed by Mammootty Kampany. On the technical front, Jeo Baby has retained the same set of technicians from his acclaimed film, The Great Indian Kitchen, which includes cinematographer Salu K Thomas, editor Francis Louis, and music director Mathews Pulickal.
