Putting an end to the ambiguity over the release plans of Kaathal, the upcoming Malayalam film starring Mammootty and Jyotika in the lead roles, will hit the theatres on November 23. Mammooty announced the news through his social media handles.
Directed by Jeo Baby, the film is backed by Mammootty Kampany. Kaathal marks Jyotika's comeback to Malayalam cinema after over a decade. Her last Malayalam release was the TK Rajeev Kumar directorial Seetha Kalyanam (2009).
The upcoming film is scripted by Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria. Kaathal also stars Lalu Alex, Muthumani, Chinnu Chandni, Sudhi Kozhikode, Anagha Akku, and Josi Sijo.
On the technical front, Jeo Baby has retained the same set of technicians from his acclaimed film, The Great Indian Kitchen, which includes cinematographer Salu K Thomas, editor Francis Louis, and music director Mathews Pulickal.
