Murali Gopy starts scripting Tyson

Murali Gopy has started working on the script of Tyson, an ambitious multilingual that was announced last year. Prithviraj Sukumaran will direct and headline Tyson, which is backed by Hombale Films, the Karnataka-based banner that produced the KGF films and Kantara. 

In a recent social media post, Murali Gopy wrote, "On to the next; the life of a pen-mover is always on the edge—precarious, maddening, yet with its own rewards! #Tyson." Prithviraj replied, "To bigger dreams!."

The writer-director duo had earlier collaborated for the all-blockbuster Lucifer. Its sequel Empuraan is currently under production. Besides this, Murali Gopy is also scripting a film to be directed by Jiyen Krishnakumar, who earlier made Tiyaan.
