We had earlier reported about Dileep teaming up with actor-turned-filmmaker Vineeth Kumar for his next. Tentatively titled D 149, the project got launched on Thursday with a customary pooja ceremony. Dileep himself is producing the film under the banner of Graand Productions.
D 149 is Vineeth Kumar's third directorial after the 2015-released Fahadh Faasil-starrer Ayal Njanalla and last year's Dear Friend. His upcoming film with Dileep is scripted by Rajesh Raghavan, who has earlier penned films like Vaadhyar (2012), 3 Dots (2013), Onnum Mindathe (2014) and Aravindante Athidhikal (2018). It has Sanu Thahir as the cinematographer, Deepu Joseph as the editor, and Midhun Mukundan as the music director.
Meanwhile, Dileep has a few other projects lined up. He is currently shooting Udal director Ratheesh Reghunandan's film, which also stars Neeta Pillai, Pranitha Subhash, Manoj K Jayan, Ajmal Ameer, and Shine Tom Chacko. It is backed by Super Good Films and Iffaar Media.
Dileep also has Bandra, directed by Ramaleela-fame Arun Gopy, and Raffi's Voice of Sathyanathan in different stages of production. Joshiy's On Air Eapen and the superhero film Parakkum Pappan are his other announced projects.
