Bheeshma Parvam writer Devadath Shaji turns director

Devadath Shaji, who made his debut as a writer with the blockbuster Mammootty-starrer Bheeshma Parvam, is set to make his directorial debut. The film is backed by Cheers Entertainments, the banner that produced Vikrithi, Jan.E.Man, and Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey. Besides directing, Devadath is also scripting the film.

Meanwhile, Cheers Entertainments also has another film coming up. Titled Falimy, it is written and directed by Nithish Sahadev. Though the project was originally announced with Antony Varghese as the lead, he has now been replaced with Basil Joseph. Jagadish, Meenaraj, Sandeep Pradeep and Manju Pillai also star in it.
