We had earlier reported that Suraj Venjaramoodu would be seen in an upcoming film titled Madanolsavam hails from the script of Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval (Nna Thaan Case Kodu). On Saturday, Suraj Venjaramoodu released a motion poster of the film through his Facebook handle. The actor also announced that the film would hit the screen on the occasion of Vishu.

Madanolsavam, inspired by a short story by E Santhosh Kumar, is directed by Sudheesh Gopinath in his maiden venture. Sudheesh is a former associate of Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval. As the creative director, Ezra's director Jay R Krishnan is also part of this project.
Apart from Suraj, Madanolsavam also stars Babu Antony, Rajesh Madhavan, Sudhi Koppa, and Bhama Arun. Shehnad Jelal is handling the camera, with Vivek Harshan on editing. Christo Xavier is the music director. The film is backed by Ajith Vinayaka Films and will be shot in Kasaragod, Coorg, and Madikeri.
Suraj was last seen, Enkilum Chandrike, along with an ensemble cast including Basil Joseph, Saiju Kurupp and Niranjana Anoop. The actor has various projects coming up, including Higuita, Roy, Acharu Varuhtiya Vina, and an untitled film with Lukka Chuppi director Bash Mohammed.
